Well it looks like we will definitely be packing our bags for California! Jackson will be playing on two teams; the 6u Mudcats, and the 8u Stallions. The Mudcats are a team of 6u kids specifically put together for the San Jose
NARCH tournament The Stallions are an existing team composed of 8u kids that have been together most of this season. They are the upper level 8u team who usually play in 10u tier 1 tournaments.
Originally Jackson was invited to play on just the Mudcats however, because of roster problems on the Stallions, Jackson was recently invited to play with them as well.
Last Friday was Jackson's first experience playing with the Stallions at the CET Sports Arena in Colorado Springs. They competed in a NARCH qualifying - 10u - Tier 1 tournament and ended the day in 2nd place with a silver medal (this is definetly a higher level of hockey than he is used to). He had a blast!

He will be training with both teams in Colorado Springs up until we leave for California. Needless to say, both boys are extremely excited for the trip. Hopefully we get some time outside of hockey to get a little site seeing in. This will also be the first time either of the boys will fly in a plane and the first time they will actually get to see the ocean. They are psyched!!!
Way to Go Jackson!!! you did great with the Stallions and San Jose will be fun!
